I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and went to undergraduate at Saint Louis University at (you guessed it) St. Louis, MO where I majored in Neuroscience with a minor in Health Care Ethics. I completed medical school through St. George's University where I spent time in Grenada for two years and New York for another two years. Residency was completed at UTHSC-St. Francis Family Medicine in Memphis, TN. Afterwards, I stayed in Memphis and pursued the Advanced Obstetrics and Women's Health Fellowship where I received additional training in operative obstetrics.
Coming to UTHSC-Nashville Family Medicine Residency Program has allowed me to blend the passion of all that I enjoy-serving an underserved community, obstetrics, wellness, medical education, and full spectrum family medicine (ranging from kiddos, families, and our sweet geriatric patients). Outside of medicine, I love to travel, binge watch the latest tv shows, explore cities and new restaurants, and now I'm starting to dabble back into reading.
