Arthur Smolensky, MD
Dr. Smolensky is a native of South Florida. He earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania. After working as a management consultant and then founding a startup he went to medical school at Rosalind Franklin University Health Sciences / The Chicago Medical School and completed his emergency medicine residency at the University of Arizona where he served as Chief Resident.
Prior to coming to Nashville Dr. Smolensky was the Human Resources Director and was on the Executive Board of a private emergency medicine practice in the Phoenix area.
Dr. Smolensky also is the President of Premier Scribes, a medical scribe service whose aim is to allow physicians to focus on patient care while ensuring chart accuracy and quality.
Dr. Smolensky also serves as the Secretary of AAEM Physician Group and serves as the Secretary Treasurer of the Tennessee chapter of AAEM. He also previously served on the Arizona ACEP chapter board of directors.
He serves on the Ascension St. Thomas system Lab Services Committee and Trauma Systems Operations Committee.
Dr. Smolensky enjoys spending time with his wife, 3 kids and 2 dogs. He also currently works for the NFL/Tennessee Titans organization.
