Dr. Miller is originally from Manchester, TN and is excited to be returning back to the Middle Tennessee area. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree at UT-Chattanooga, majoring in biology with a minor in theater. In college, she was involved in several productions and is a huge supporter of performing arts. She then went on to do research for NIH in Bethesda, Maryland, before attending medical school at UT Health Science Center in Memphis. She completed her residency in Family Medicine, along with Advanced Obstetrics and Women's Health Fellowship at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis. After training, she continued to work in the Memphis area specializing in women's health with operative obstetrics, pediatrics, and young families. She has experience in private practice, along with working for FQHC, then eventually transitioning to full time academia. She served as Course Director of the UTHSC family medicine department, where she received the Golden Apple Teaching award for her work third year medical students. She is passionate about educating medical students and residents on continuity of care for the entire household/family unit. She is married with two children and her rescue dog Mika. She and her family love music, live entertainment, and enjoying local restaurants.
